Yes folks,
Being a long-time reader of David's huge Strobist community, discussing not-so-huge flashes, I'm really stoked he wrote about me... err, my light, light lightstands. Read it on Strobist here.
I've made five of them now, one of them being a little different. I've put all of them into my everyday commercial work, doing fine. More info regarding those three-legged babies of mine soon here.

Hej Peter!
Mvh

Hej Daniel,
Kul :-) Hoppas du hittar något intressant.

Just popped over from strobist and have to say they look somehow beautiful - like the Scandic furniture aesthetic has somehow influenced their design :)
Can't wait to see your instructions on making them - it will be interesting to say the least :)
That's a little entertaining, considering they've just made in the most simple and quick way I could figure out. The best looking one would probably have an alu triangle in the bottom also, but it gets a little more heavy that way, though more rigid.
I'm on a trip next week, but will post a follow-up when I get home again.
Enjoyed your website especially your interior images!
I also do architectural photography, currently mostly in Southwestern USA where I teach architecture at a design university. I have to carry several stands and lights so reducing the weight of the stands and setting up so quickly is an amazing advantage. When you share the details about the stand maybe you could also mention what umbrella and attachments you use.
Inspiring work and great blog!

Great Job on you tent light umbrella holders simple and lite!
Where did you get the tent poles?
Don Winkler Springfield Ma USA
Not to use on a windy day, right?
Thanks for the tent pole light stand, caught it over at Strobist.com
Excellent portfolio by the way!
Folks,
Thanks for all the support and comments!
@ Don: I bought them from a tent manufacturer; lots cheaper than as spares.
@ John: correct :-) I use normal lightstands outside.
